KYOHO PRINT
A MUSIC INSPIRED BOOK COVER PROJECT
Kyoho Print is a book cover project in which each cover is inspired by one of my favorite songs. When I first started drafting covers, I thought it would be fun to treat these titles as if they came from an actual publisher. Thus Kyoho Print, a fake publishing house represented by a bear with kyoho grapes for ears, was born.
There were a few books based on Vocaloid songs that I had stumbled across prior that greatly inspired me to make my own. Goodbye Sengen by Iri Arata and Midori Mitsuki based on my favorite Vocaloid song “Goodbye Declaration” by Chinozo (feat. Flower) was my biggest inspiration.
A major component of Kyoho Print are its social media pages. As I continue to create book covers, I aim to post about them as if they were really being promoted by a publisher. You can find us on Instagram and Twitter.
